Very beautiful pair of 18K yellow gold earrings.

They were made in the 1850s and are in their original box.  The earrings with their original box are exceptional pieces and a very rare find. 

The jewellery box is monogrammed in gold metal at the top with the "MARRET & BAUGRAND" initials. The jewellery box is in great condition despite its age.

These splendid earrings are the work of MARRET & BAUGRAND, jewelers to His Majesty the Emperor, 19 rue de la Paix
